Please see our support page for Mental Health for Young People as well as the following information and support

You can ask for an appointment with your GP and request a referral to CAMHS (the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service). It can be helpful to help your child to write down their thoughts and feelings before the appointment.

The YoungMinds parents helpline is free and can be contacted by home or by email. A trained worker will listen to your concerns about your child and can send you information or arrange a free callback from a CAMHS professional.  Includes advice                                                          for dealing with exam stress.
MindEd for Families is written by a team of specialists and parents, working together. The website has lots on information for parents and carers.
The doc ready website will help you and your child to think about how they are feeling. They can complete an online checklist and print this out to bring with them.
