Meet the Tutor Appointment Overview

The Meet the Tutor appointment is an opportunity for parents/carers to discuss their child's progress and well-being with their Learning Family Tutor. Here's how the day will work and what to expect:

How to Book Your Appointment

  • Follow the provided link at the bottom of this page to access the Learning Family Tutor's calendars.
  • Select your child's learning family tutor. 
  • Select "Jump to Available Date" to view open time slots.
  • Choose and secure a 10-minute appointment at a time that suits you between 8:15 and 3:05.

Purpose of the Meeting

During the meeting, the Learning Family Tutor will:

  • Discuss your child’s progress, using their report to highlight strengths and areas for development.
  • Explain what progress looks like and how your child is performing holistically.
  • Address key areas such as:
    • Subject Progress
    • Attendance
    • Uniform
    • Well-being
    • Achievement and Behaviour 
  • Identify ways to work together to best support your child’s success.

Additional Information

  • Individual subject teachers will not be present. However, the Learning Family Tutor will communicate any specific concerns to subject teachers on your behalf if needed.
  • Parents/carers should attend the meeting with their child and bring a copy of their child’s report.

This meeting is designed to provide a well-rounded understanding of your child’s achievements and needs, ensuring we can support their progress effectively.
